Established in 2000 this market leader in the Design, Supply, Installation, Service & Maintenance of Residential, Commercial & Industrial fire services equipment has built a strong reputation for quality products and services. Due to ongoing projects this tier 1 industry leader have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their dynamic Sydney team!


About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead, develop and manage projects up to $20 million ensuring the highest possible levels of quality are delivered.


Responsibilities include:

  • Detailed project programming and control and managing project progress and performance
  • Variation and contract negotiations
  • Managing financials across projects, budgeting and forecasts
  • Design Management
  • Build long-term positive client relationships
  • Managing onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
  • Managing defect rectification
  • Mentoring and coaching Junior Project Managers and Site teams
  • Establishing and ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS requirements

Skills & experience required:

  • Relevant Degree or Trade Certificate
  • Industry experience with expertise in fire systems in the commercial construction industry.
  • Experience managing teams in excess of 10 (direct labour and sub-contractor labour)
  • Experience with successful delivery of commercial fit-out, refurbishment and new build projects
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation & relationship building skills
  • High level of commercial acumen & adherence to workplace health & safety
