In this role you will: Efficiently carry out planned maintenance and inspections of train control signalling and associated communications to provide safe and reliable operation of the railway. Safely support the Rail Network Renewal activities. Assist with the development and implementation of improvement projects and propose improvements to maintenance processes. Communicate regularly with key stakeholders including Train Control, Rail operations, and Engineering Support regarding the signalling system performance. Identify faults and implement permanent solutions. The average return distance of these trains is about 800 kilometres with the average journey cycle, including loading and dumping, taking approximately 40 hours. Their network is the largest privately owned and operated heavy haul rail system in Australia, and as they focus on the future, their vision is to become the greatest heavy haul railway in the world.   They are seeking Signalling Engineers with experience working on a rail network. These unique roles will give you the opportunity to work alongside and learn from the best people in the rail industry as well as to be at the forefront of rail innovation and work on the world’s first automated heavy-haul freight network   The Signalling Engineers will be based in Perth, Western Australia.
