Northern Territory 2009 skills shortage list
In March 2009, the Northern Territory (NT) Government released an updated Baseline List of Occupations for 2009. The NT list specifies occupations experiencing shortages specific to that Australian territory and is not a reference list for other Australian states and territories.
Changes in the Northern Territory’s labour market have led to changes in its list of occupations eligible for skilled migration. A further revised list may be available later in 2009, depending on changes to the MODL and other state and territory occupation lists.
