Who we are

Based in Perth, Western Australia Silver Trowel Trade Training has achieved recognition as a quality training institution and has been awarded the highest ranking of three gold stars by the Australian Institute for Trade Skills Excellence in 2008.

Silver Trowel delivers Certificate III qualifications within the building and construction industry, including trade qualifications in:

• Carpentry
• Solid Plastering
• Wall and Floor Tiling
• Bricklaying

We also provide Certificate IV qualifications in Business for those students who are required or wish to advance their skills and employment prospects after completing their trade qualifications.

Training facilities

Silver Trowel is well supported by industry and the training is delivered in purpose built training facilities. Our lecturing staff are all trade qualified and have recent industry experience. Our facilities have been equipped with the best training tools and equipment and we have developed student facilities to make your training more enjoyable.

We also have state of the art classroom facilities which ensure students have access to the up-to-date teaching resources and theoretical information to compliment the practical delivery. All of our facilities are conveniently located on public transport routes close to Perth city.

Student services

We have a dedicated student services team which can assist students with all of their enrolment and study enquiries. This team can provide assistance with a host of transitional issues such as finding accommodation, setting up a bank account or job search skills.

Silver Trowel also has student accommodation facilities available for short term or long term use. These facilities are fully furnished and provide separate sleeping facilities for the occupants. They are located close to our training facilities and local shopping complexes.
