Primary Health Care
About us
Primary Health Care is a service company to practitioners. It is the most successful in its field and has a proven record, with over 85 medical centres covering most states in Australia with more centres opening all the time.
What does Primary do?
We design and develop large scale multidisciplinary medical centres. These are modern with an attractive fit-out and wide range of medical equipment and facilities. We employ necessary staff, nurses, receptionists, supervisors, accountants and administrative staff. We maintain the centres, and amalgamate up to 25 full time general practitioners in each centre.
Each of the doctors who work in the centre works as an independent associate. There is no requirement to see a particular number of patients or to have any particular type of practice. We progressively add ancillary services such as physiotherapy, radiology, pharmacy, specialists, podiatrists, dieticians and social workers.
Professional benefits
- Most of your time can be applied for care of patients rather than administration and other non-compensated work.
- There is a wider range of clinical presentations (patient mix) that enable you to develop and maintain comprehensive clinical skills with greater practice satisfaction.
- Excellent facilities and equipment enable ease of practice and a wider range of practice for the benefit of doctors and patients.
Financial benefits
- £250,000 initial capital payment for contracted commitment.
- It is our experience that practitioners have a higher than average gross income across their contracted period, the combined effect of which is that doctors who are committed to the group can be $1m or more better off after years in the practice than they would be otherwise. Many doctors have had benefits in excess of this.
Patient benefits
- Accessible health care when needed, open 365 days a year from 7.00am to 10.00pm.
- No appointments necessary.
- Medicare services bulk billed.
