Australian economy keeps on growing

The Australian GDP has grown 1.2%, in seasonally adjusted volume terms, in the June quarter of 2010, according to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). 

A 1.6% increase in household expenditure and a 5.6% increase in exports were responsible for this growth.

Construction, mining and professional, scientific and technical services were the industries that provided the main contribution to growth, in seasonally adjusted terms.
