The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has announced that, since 21 August 2010, a person who has previously been in Australia on a Subclass 462 (Work and Holiday) visa cannot apply for a Subclass 417 (Working Holiday) visa.
Additionally, recent changes also mean that Subclass 462 (Work and Holiday) visas cannot be accompanied by dependent children.
These amendments are valid for applications made on or after 21 August 2010.
