As the result of increased project business, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer.

Applicants must be degree qualified and have experience in the design and manufacture of industrial electrical projects. Strong management and planning skills, high level interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The capacity to travel and be proficient in MS Office, ACAD and MS Project is also required. Equally, applicants must be able to work under pressure and have experience of delivering outstanding results within a project environment.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Industrial /electrical design, scope and specifications;
• The coordination of manufacturing activities including procurement and subcontractors;
• Writing electrical functional descriptions;
• The witnessing and sign off on electrical point-to-point testing, certificate of conformance (CoC), HMI checking and commissioning;
• Facilitate/organise code simulation; and
• Assist Project Engineers with electrical and instrumentation aspects relating to the construction of Osmoflo plant construction
