Our client is the market leader in the development of new technology for transportation systems worldwide. They have an immediate vacancy for a System Safety and RAM Engineer to perform System Safety and RAM engineering to support the organisations development, implementation and maintenance of the System Safety and RAM management system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide System Safety and RAM expertise for projects and tenders
• Hazard and Risk Management and System Safety and RAM Analysis
• Perform Preliminary System Safety and RAM Assessments (PASRAMI) for basic tenders and assist with assessments for complex tenders
• Perform System Safety and RAM Analysis and Hazard Management work for basic projects and assist for complex projects
• Liaise with design and testing staff on projects on System Safety, RAM and Hazard Management matters as necessary to ensure timely completion of work
• Ensure all activities undertaken in the Company are conducted with due regard to a high level of safety

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
• At least 2 years experience in Signalling or other Safety critical engineering area
• At least 1 year experience in the use of appropriate safety engineering techniques, PHA, FTA, FMEA
