Located in South Brisbane, close to the South Bank precinct and the cultural heart of Brisbane, the world class Mater Mothers' Public and Private Hospitals manages 9,500 births and 2,000 neonatal admissions each year, including at least 100 neonatal retrievals and 150 back transfers and is the largest maternity facility in Australia.
The Mater Mothers’ Hospital provides antenatal, perinatal and postnatal services, and specialises in caring for severe complications in pregnancy as well as newborn disorders.
Due to the expansion of the Mater Mothers' Hospital, we are always seeking experienced Neonatal Registered and Clinical Nurses to join our teams.
The Division of Neonatology is an accredited 79 cots - these are 25 Neonatal Intensive Care cots, 22 Neonatal intensive cots for babies >K32 gestation and 32 special care nursery cots. The service expands to 79 cots in the new hospital - these are 25 Neonatal Intensive Care cots, 12 high dependency (with the functional capability of Intensive care requirements) and 42 special care nursery cots.
