Located in Australia's "Top End", our Darwin office is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Civil Engineer who is looking to take on a great new career challenge. 
 
This role includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
  • Act as job manager for a wide range of commissions, managing the delivery of projects and commissions to budget, time and quality. Typically, projects may include strategic planning studies, feasibility studies, concept and detailed design projects and construction phase services.
  • Provide technical / design expertise into projects as required and assist in the management of engineering and support staff in this area as required by the Service Group Leader.
  • Support the Service Group Manager, in developing GHD's civil consultancy both locally and nationally.
  • Business Development, Fee Proposal writing and Fee Estimates.
The successful candidate will have a strong client focus and be expected to work competently in water and sewerage retaliation, road design, earthworks and stormwater drainage, building site works, multidisciplinary projects, various concrete structures, subdivisional developments, tendering and contract administration, demonstrate competency project development, design and construction. 
 
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are also essential requirements for this position.
