Located in Australia's "Top End", our Darwin office is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Water Wastewater Engineer who is looking to take on a great new career challenge. 
 
This exciting role includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
  • Provide technical expertise to clients of the Water Group in the Darwin office, and support projects through other service groups and offices as required.
  • Provide planning, design, documentation and construction contract management of water and wastewater engineering projects.
  • Contribute to the development of GHD's knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design and construction.
  • Assist in the securing and delivering water and wastewater projects in the Northern Territory.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for graduate engineers in the Civil Infrastructure and Water Service Groups.
  • Assist the Water Service Group Manager in promotion of GHD's strategy, business ethics and values to the staff within the Service Group.
As a water engineer, you will hold a degree qualification in a civil engineering discipline. You will also have at least 10 years industry experience, including proven experience in the management of civil engineering projects, and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies. 
 
To be successful in this role you will require outstanding verbal and written communication skills, highly developed report writing skills and previous success in developing both internal and external relationships. A strong eye for detail and a proactive approach is also essential.
 
GHD is involved in a wide range of government, local government and private client projects, which offer interesting and challenging work. You will be working on a variety of projects throughout the Northern Territory region.
