THE PRACTICE HAS TWO CONSULTING ROOMS, BOTH FITTED WITH MODERN EQUIPMENT AND ONE ROOM HAS A VISUAL FIELD ANALYSER.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED TO BE A FULLY QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST, AND BE EXPERIENCED IN CONTACT LENS CONSULTATIONS AND FITTINGS AS WELL AS DISPENSING SPECTACLES. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE AUSTRALIAN OPTOMETRICAL ASSOCIATION, QUEENSLAND.
THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO EARN AN EXCELLENT INCOME AND GAIN INVALUABLE EXPERIENCE AT THE SAME TIME. SALARY RANGE IS FROM $100,000.00 (FOR A GRADUATE WITH EXPERIENCE) TO $160,000.00 FOR AN EXPERIENCED OPTOMETRIST.
THE AREA HAS FOUR OPTHALMOLOGIST PRACTICES AND FOUR HOSPITALS AS WELL AS ALL OF THE OTHER ESSENTIAL SERVICES. ONE HOUR FLIGHTS TO BRISBANE (CAPITAL CITY OF QUEENSLAND) MAKES IT EASY TO TRAVEL AWAY FOR A WEEKEND ETC.
THE CENTRAL QUEENSLAND AREA HAS MANY VARIED OPPORTUNITIES TO OFFER YOU. WITH THE COAST ONLY 45 KILOMETRES AWAY - YOU CAN HAVE THE CHOICE OF LIVING IN THE CITY OR AT THE COAST, WHATEVER YOU PREFER.
