IPA Personnel is a recognised recruiter on behalf of New South Wales Health. Currently we have requirement for Career Medical Officers for coastal locations.

Essential Criteria:

1. Current registration as a medical practitioner in New South Wales (or eligible).
2. Minimum of three (3) years postgraduate experience.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Current unrestricted NSW Drivers' Licence (or eligible)

Key Performance Areas/Duties:
Primary Function:
To ensure a high standard of clinical care is provided to patients under the supervision of consultant.

Clinical Areas Available:
- ED
- Medical
- Surgical
- ICU
- HDU
- CAPAC

Applicants should be aware that these vacancies are located in attractive costal and inland areas of New South Wales in towns that would be considered rural and semi-rural. These positions are not metro area vacancies. Positions are scheduled to commence in 2010, however start date may be negotiated. Placement will be for 2-4 years with the opportunity of extension.

Benefits:

Ö Salary from $122,490 to $162,326 on commencement (includes 17.5% leave loading and 9% superannuation).
Ö Opportunity to progress to Senior CMO / Hospitalist role with salary from $175,787 to $187,586.
Ö Continuing medical education (after 12 months) of 7 days paid leave per annum (accruing up to 21 days) with some expenses paid.
