Due to expansion in the scope of their infrastructure division a newly created position for a Senior Structural Engineer now exists. You will be joining a team of high end professionals where you will be an integral part of what is effectively a high end consultancy and strategic business unit. You will be offered an attractive remuneration package that will encompass ongoing training and development.
As the Senior Structural Engineer your primary responsibilities are:
• Effectively communicate with internal and external parties on concept design whilst coherently and objectively identifying improvements
• Manage consultants output to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of designs
• Review designs, create scopes of work and conduct verification checks.
• Have an involvement and lead policies and strategies within the discipline
• Work effectively and have input with all other disciplines within the business unit including marine, civil, and Geotechnical
To be considered for this position you will;
• Have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil/Structural or equivalent
• Possess substantial structural design experience including consulting experience
• Have knowledge and exposure to varied construction practices and methodologies
• Be objective and structured in your thinking
• Have gained prior exposure to LNG refineries, will be highly regarded
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
