Our client, a multi-disciplined engineering consultant, is searching for an experienced CAD Drafter with the confidence to lead teams to deliver high profile project designs.

We require a Drafter with strong Geometry and design experience with Autocad (MX, 12D or Inroads is NOT required for the role, but would be a benefit). You will support the Regional CAD Manager in overviewing the Civils team to deliver schemes across projects of varying value, from $500K up to $400m.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years experience, 15 years ideally
• Relevent Civil Engineering and Drafting qualifications / certificates
• Previous experience on major projects with a well known engineering consultant

Your typical responsibilities will be:

• Conduct conceptual and detailed drafting in order to prepare technical documentation
• Provide practical and economical solutions to project deliverables
• Have a proven knowledge of drafting principles to devise and deliver practical solutions to problems
• Maintain high QA standards of CAD expertise and engineering knowledge
• Contribute to the overall management and profitably of the group
• Assist with the development & resourcing of the Civil CAD team so an ability to manage staff will be highly regarded

Salary will be based on experience but a salary range will be between $100,000 to $115,000.
