Our client is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapists to join the team of professional healthcare workers within a supportive integrated environment. Be part of an experienced multidisciplinary team who pride themselves on their progressive approach to patient management.

The Occupational Therapist will participate in service provision for an independent caseload of clients within the Hospital and assist other staff in the management of complex clients. We are looking for someone with good group facilitation skills, who will enjoy supporting clients tackle on-going daily living challenges, and exercise creative problem solving.

The role is based in a Hospital environment and encompasses inpatient and day therapy programs within a well established Rehabilitation Unit, a medical ward OT caseloads and in addition there will also be a small workload across home assessments.

Essentials

1. Recognised degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists

2. Minimum of 1 to 2 years clinical experience in the field Occupational Therapy

3. Understanding and commitment to the principles of Primary Health Care

4. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team

5. Demonstrated ability to work without close supervision

6. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
