This large private hospital based in Melbourne is a major tertiary referral teaching hospital.

Specialist services include trauma services, emergency and intensive care, comprehensive cancer services, blood diseases, respiratory medicine, melanoma, bone marrow transplant, cardiology / cardiovascular services, neurosurgery, general and specialist surgery and medicine, psychiatry and diagnostic services.


The Neurotrauma / Neurosurgery ward cares for patients who have undergone both elective and emergency procedures to the brain and spinal cord within a supportive nursing team incorporating the primary nursing model.

Nursing care ranges from pre and postoperative recovery of patients within the Acute Neurosurgical Care Area with a range of complex invasive monitoring, to supporting patients and their families on the road to Neuro-rehabilitation.
