There are few roles out there at the moment at Manager Mining level to be excited over, but this is guaranteed to meet expectation wrt to location and challenge.
 
We are looking for a Manager Mining to report through to the Operations Manager who needs to concentrate on new  projects and as such needs a strong personality to take over the running of multiple operations.
 
Responsible for Managing all mining activities for the existing operation, its expected your priority is safety first, whilst meeting and exceeding bottom line performance expectations. Its a role that encompasses all aspects of the operations, from Mining Production through Maintenance and across Environmental, OH&S as well as Metallurgy, People, Community and Finance ensuring the optimum utilisation of all assets. 
 
You will need to be a leader, focused, well organised and determined to make a real difference.
 
The preference is for a degree qualified candidate with at least 15 - 20 years experience in Mining frome a background of Mine Engineering, Survey, Metallurgy, Geology, the discipline is not important, but the background in Management at this level definitely is a priority with the expectation that you are an all rounders with good engineering and operational experience.
