Currently we have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Buildings Group.
The Buildings group in Brisbane employs around 110 people and is responsible for a variety of projects in Queensland. These include Healthcare, Government, Defence and Commercial projects.
In this role you will provide technical competence in mechanical engineering to our current and future projects. This position will also provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to the mechanical engineering team in order to embrace them to resolve technical problems.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also be involved in identifying potential buildings services opportunities and assist in the development of proposals to support these opportunities.
Qualifications / Skills required:
• A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering at bachelor level is essential;
• 8 + years experience in a similar role within a HVAC mechanical services industry, is mandatory;
• Previous experience in a consulting position is deemed essential
• Chartered status or is an RPEQ is preferred;
• Previous exposure in participating in a structured mentoring program or experience in coaching and guiding
