ACCIONA Energy is a global leader in the renewable energy industry. It owns and operates solar, wind energy, hydro power, biomass and biodiesel plants around the world.  With continued growth in Australia, ACCIONA Energy seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Generation Team in South Melbourne.

This role is responsible for overseeing all Civil, Structural and Geotechnical related work undertaken during the Development, Delivery and Construction phases of ACCIONA Energy’s renewable energy projects. You will manage all civil engineering elements throughout the delivery and construction phases of projects and, where required, provide input to Development and Operational phase activities. 

You will be responsible for managing all structural engineering elements throughout the delivery and construction phases of projects. 

To be successful in this role you will need the following

• 8-10 years experience in similar civil and or structural engineering role within the wind farm industry 
• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Knowledge and understanding of inspection, testing and quality regimes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to adapt and respond quickly to rapidly changing demands within the organisation
• Ideally some experience in tender and contract related processes.
