Harvey is a substantial rural service centre in the southwest of Western Australia surrounded by orchards, market gardens, an important timber industry and rich agricultural land. It has a population of 22,000 people and is situated half-way between Perth and the very popular Margaret River wine region on the Cape Naturaliste coast.
