This new position for an experienced Mechanical Designer / Project Engineer has been created as the result of significant project wins and a commitment to the continued growth of the Industrial business within this multi-disciplined consultancy.
Working, initially, with a project team of 50 engineers and drafters on a major materials handling project, this role will offer you the opportunity to work on major projects throughout Australia and overseas. Your primary responsibilities will include: -
Design of conveyor systems and subsystems
Equipment selection
Specification preparation
Tender evaluation
Project support
The successful applicant will be a degree qualified Mechanical Designer/Project engineer with at least 3 years experience in a similar role. Experience within a consulting environment is desirable, as is specific experience within the resources industry. You must be a team player and reliable with good written and verbal communication skills.
