Due to recent project wins and a commitment to continued growth, a new role has been created within this multi-national Industrial business.
Reporting to the senior management team, you will be, primarily, responsible for developing the capabilities of the mechanical design team to meet the technical, quality and safety requirements across the project portfolio. This will involve managing and mentoring an experienced team and assisting in Tenders & Project Engineering for large contracts, as well as hands-on design and modification of complex solutions for a variety of clients within the Industrial sector and developing process improvement/elimination of faults for increased performance. In this role, you will also be responsible for growing the business through the establishment of working relationships and generating ongoing work
The successful applicant will be degree qualified with extensive experience in the design and delivery of capital works projects within a heavy industrial environment. Experience in pressure piping, pressure vessel and rotating machinery is preferred. Strong commercial acumen is also essential to this role and a proven track record in developing new business and managing client relationships is required. Experience within a consulting firm or role is highly desirable.
