This position is based in Perth and requires working closely with our clients at least throughout Western Australia. A strong understanding of the market for hydrogeological consultancy services in Western Australia is preferred, or a successful track record of experience in another locations.

Responsibilities/Objectives

-Project management and technical direction of hydrogeological site investigations.
-Provision of expertise, review and comment on complex groundwater quality and flow aspects of various projects including groundwater resource assessments for mining and infrastructure projects.
-Provision of peer review of hydrogeological site assessments.
-Hydrogeological input to statutory environmental reports.
- Initiate and implement business development and client management for existing and new clients.
- Deliver project services in accordance with Health, Safety & Environment Systems.
-Preparation of tenders and proposals as Proposal
-Manager/Proposal Director.
-Initiate and provide technical training/mentoring for graduate and junior staff.
-Take a leadership role in workgroup initiatives including technical activities.
-Perform other related duties from time to time, provided that they are consistent with your skills, competencies and expertise.

Your experience should include groundwater resources, investigations and assessments, borefield design, feasibility studies, groundwater modelling, contaminant transport studies, and groundwater resources compliance reporting. You should also have demonstrable project management experience.

To be successful in this role you will require excellent oral and written communication skills, refined time management skills, ability to lead single and multiple-disciplinary teams and a commitment to both quality of deliverables and a customer driven business. An innovative approach towards problem solving and the ability to develop profitable business relationships are also important.
