With the current operation going deeper, seismicity and ground support issues start to be a problem, so our ideal candidate will have a relevant Degree and at least 2 - 4 years experience in a Mining environment, preferably Underground so as to provide Geotechnical knowledge and skill to the Underground teams. A strong focus on safety and great interpersonal skills are expected and in turn, the position offers professional development within a small team environment and an attractive Package with a good bonus structure.
SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

A position requiring you to be a Degree Qualified Geotechnical Engineer with a minimum of 7 - 10 years experience in underground Mining. Knowledge of underground geotechnical software is essential.

• Providing Geotechnical advice to a range of personnel
• Providing leadership and mentoring to the Geotechnical teams on site
• Geotechnical assessment of ground behaviour
• Interpretation of data
• Supply Geotechnical input in Mine planning

SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

This is a call for an astute Senior Geotechnical Engineer eager for new challenges to grow within a strategic project roles. Your main role will involve supporting the Development and Production teams with a diverse range of projects as well as providing guidance to less experienced team members and peer review. Its expected that you will be creative thinking with insight to challenge established ideas because its breaking new ground. 10 years in underground mining is essential as is a degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
