• It is expected of you to use creative thinking, with the insight to challenge established ideas and to add value to each of the projects.
• You will be evaluating appropriate mining strategies, preparing realistic mine designs and schedules, and identifying project risks.
Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in dealing with personnel across all levels of the organization and in facilitating technical peer reviews.
In the longer term you will be responsible for managing feasibility projects and identifying the most promising opportunities, to maximize and optimize the potential of the assets.
Your qualifications should include a degree in Mine Engineering or related discipline and that you have 4-5 years open pit & underground mining experience. Knowledge of mine design software is essential.
