Geologist - Gold Exploration - Western Australia.
A major mining firm is seeking a highly driven and enthusiastic geology graduate for a major gold exploration project in Western Australia. The firm has successfully completed a couple of mining operations in a nearby region, and have thus far unearthed 4,000,000 ounces of gold. There is great belief in the potential of the larger region (500km long) and they are seeking someone who has the enthusiasm and graft to succeed in this project.
The team are very dynamic and hard-working and require a recent geology graduate from an accredited university with high energy levels who can work in a hands-on capacity in often harsh desert conditions. The site is FIFO (Fly in Fly out) on a regular 2 on, 1 off weekly working basis.
Any commercial field experience will be very beneficial. Mobility to other regions of Australia may also be an option.
