Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the main purpose of the roles will be coordination and supervision of mechanical design functions for selected work.
This will involve :
- Mechanical engineering content of design specs and technical docs for the project
- Technical recommendations ,specs & reports
- Mechanical engineering input relating to the relevant projects
- Checking & vetting vendor info
- Resolving technical queries inter project/client/site
Now that some of the technical jargon is out the way you will have an idea of what we are looking for !
To pay you exceptionally well for your expertise we would like you to have :
- Bachelor of Engineering ( Mechanical ) or equivalent
- At least 5 years mechanical design experience in the mining/minerals processing industry ( iron ore or material handling experience also ok )
- Good computer and organisational skills
