Bridge (Construction) Engineer
A number of vacancies exist for experience engineers/ supervisors to work on one of Australia’s most exciting infrastructure projects. With construction recently started, the project is valued at over $1.8 billion and consists of six lane bridges and associated works and is due for completion in 2010.
You will be working in the team responsible for overseeing the technical compliance standards of this major road project; assessing whether civil construction works are being carried out by the construction contractor in compliance with the full set of technical engineering requirements.
The candidates our client seeks will have a strong and recent background in engineering from a construction or technical background gained working on bridge construction projects. Strong communication skills, excellent organisational skills and sound physical fitness are also prerequisites for this role.
