A vacancy currently exists for a Project Engineer to be based at the Nogoa Levee - Ensham, near Emerald.

PROJECT ENGINEER
Key Role Accountabilities include:
- Implement and monitor the project program in respect to engineering services.
- Manage and monitor resources for the project.
- Develop and foster effective and regular communication with Project Team including suppliers and clients.
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Plans and other relevant standards and legislation.
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and other relevant standards and legislation.
Position Competencies Include:
- Demonstrated practical knowledge in investigation, design and construction of civil works
- Demonstrated understanding of competitive tendering procedures and practices
- Ability to manage consultants providing analytical and design skills for civil works
- Communication including oral, written and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients
- Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors
- Ability to develop client relationships
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote cohesive teamwork
- Sound level computer applications, including Microsoft applications and AutoCAD
