Position: Trades & Services, Welder
With a workshop located approx 15 minutes from Perth City, our client is searching for welders with various skills and experience within the industry. Read the job description below and see if you have the skills they want
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities that Are Required:
1. Trade Certificate
2. Have the necessary personal tools to complete welding activities
3. The ability to read and understand the requirements of a welding procedure
4. The ability to work indpendently and produce work of an acceptable standard
5. An ability to weld carbon, chrome moly, austenitic and duplex stainless steels
6. An ability to use in "all positions" welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW & GMAW)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities that Are Preferred:
7. An ability to weld nickel based and titanium based steels
8. An ability to use other welding processes (SAW, orbital welding)
9. An ability to qualify to a welding standard (AS 3992, ASME IX)
10. An ability to use gas cutting equipment
