Department of Main Roads is investing $13.3 billion over the next five years on road and transport infrastructure that will connect our future, while simultaneously managing the State’s largest asset – some 33,500 km of road network valued at over $35 billion.

As an AO7 Senior Project Manager you will plan, coordinate and manage the concept planning, development and implementation phases of road infrastructure projects. Your ability to manage and motivate a team is essential in this position. Some of your key responsibilities include:


- Monitoring and reporting on project progress against predetermined time, cost and quality specifications.

- Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues associated with the project to improve overall performance and ensure value for money.

- Contribute to public consultation activities and ensure that effective liaison is undertaken with community, local governments and other major stakeholders.


Whilst formal qualifications are not mandatory, experience working on road infrastructure projects would be highly regarded.

The total remuneration package for this AO7 Senior Project Management role ranges from $121,000 - $129,000 per annum, including infrastructure program loading.
