Our client is an established market leader running some of the most prestigious and highly productive open cut and underground coal mines on the eastern seaboard of Australia.
Due to expansion and continual growth they are looking for a Project Manager to be part of an exciting project at a superbly situated underground coal mine in the heart of the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.
The main responsibilities of this interesting and rewarding position will include:
• Environmental duties and awareness
• Underground contractor liaison
• Budgeting and planning
• Presentation and report work
The successful candidate will need:
• Mining experience
• Project management skills
• Environmental knowledge and previous experience
• High level computer skills
• The drive and initiative to work autonomously and as part of a dedicated technical team.
