We are working closely with a leading mining operator with significant open cut coal operations in the Hunter Valley of NSW.
Due to the demands of the industry they have a direct need for an experienced Dragline Engineer to be based at one of their highly successful and much admired mine sites.
The successful candidate will have open cut mining experience (3-5 years not necessarily in coal) and the ability to work within a dedicated technical services department. You will also need strong software skills, a good eye for detail and truck and shovel experience will be a benefit.
The main responsibilities of this exciting role will include – short term planning and scheduling, management liaison, site based duties and working towards targeted goals and production targets.
