A mining giant with operations throughout Australia is on the lookout for a Senior Mining Engineer with a roll up your sleeves attitude who enjoys getting stuck into the daily operations of the mine and gains a sense of satisfaction from being able to influence the required outcomes of the team.
Whilst this is a position that requires a lot of you there is always the time to have a laugh and your sense of humour will be appreciated.
You will need to be a qualified Senior Mining Engineer with at least 7 years planning and operations systems experience. You will be reporting to the Manager Mining , and as the Senior Mining Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that mine planning and supporting systems are set up and run to ensure that the mining operations objectives and goals are obtained.
Your areas of responsibilities will include:
• Pit Optimisation
• Developing Mine Designs and Production schedules
• Developing Systems and Providing Technical Support
• Deputising for the Manager Mining
