Our client is the largest collector, processor and supplier of recycled metal products in Australasia. This is implemented through a network of 45 physical operations in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Their processing capacity, which includes 7 fragmentisers, shears, balers and granulating plants, operates to the highest environmental and quality standards to produce products that are recognised and sought after throughout the world.
Through these centres, our client provides a wide range of services including material handling and logistical solutions to industry, both large and small, government and the public. Other specialised services include resource recovery through mobile processing equipment, testing and analysis of metals and total waste management solutions.
Various grades of ferrous and non ferrous materials, processed and packed to international specifications, are available for sale to the domestic and international markets.
Our client is currently seeking to employ two Oxy Cutter / Welders with the following requirements:
•Oxy cut scrap to specification
•Process cast iron to specification
•Put aside any non ferrous metal for collection at the end of day and advise Ferrous / Shredder supervisor
•Maintain equipment to function correctly
•Perform all work and associated functions in the safest possible manner and establish and maintain the highest possible standards of housekeeping and cleanliness and observe all other aspects of the Health and Safety Policy
•Conduct your activities in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with their Environmental Management procedures
•Perform maintenance on bins and cutting equipment using electric arc stick and MIG welding
•Assist in other areas as required
