Position: Engineering, Process Engineering
My client part of a global concern situated a couple of hundred km’s south of Karratha is looking for a highly motivated process engineer/metallurgist with the initiative and drive to help keep this operation humming.
This position reports to the Technical Services Superintendent and he feels that the success of his team lies not only with a person having the right skill set but also just as important is somebody with a hands on attitude and ability to work within a close knit team.
Responsibilities would include:
• Monitor, review and provide technical expertise and process improvement support.
• Provide training and support to operations and operators.
• Design and construct experiments to assess plant operations to achieve required product quality.
• Database maintenance and upkeep.
• Liaise with Supervisor as to Production operations on a daily and weekly basis.
What is needed for this position is a degree qualified chemical/metallurgical engineer with 18 months experience in a plant based role and the desire to make a success of whatever they do.
