You will be working in a fast expanding Open Pit ,that requires your skills to further develop this exciting new project . This successful, growing Group depends not only on the quality and diversity of the company’s assets, but also on the talent, skills and safety of their people.
Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, this position offers the opportunity to be directly responsible for the day to day production on site, with duties including
• Short to medium term planning and scheduling,
• Monitoring and ordering all explosive stock usage
• Drill and blast design and optimisation,
• Preparation and analysis of the drill and blast budget
• Pit design and production enhancement.
At least 4-6 years experience in an open pit environment, with a tertiary qualification is required.
