Due to continuing success and growth, a position for an underground mine Geologist has been created in order to compliment an already formidable team.
You’ll be fortunate to work alongside a great bunch of committed and talented Geology professionals who are down to earth, understand the benefits of teamwork and have thus far accomplished and exceeded everything the team has set out to achieve.
To take advantage of our structurally and mineralogical complex ore bodies in a high-grade metamorphic region, you would be expected to have a degree in Geology, at least 3 - 5 years in Underground Mining and preferably a solid understanding of Vulcan
Effective and efficient use of your diverse and transferable Geology skill set, will initially involve you in :
• Geological Mapping
• Core logging and Interpretation
• Interpretation of Grade Control and Drilling Data
• Support Mine Planning Engineers with reserves and resource scheduling
• Plan, implement and supervise drilling programs
