The Project Management group within the International Development Division of URS is now seeking a Group Leader.
Joining a dedicated hard-working team, you will be responsible for delivering project management services to URS Clients in Australia and in developing countries throughout Asia and the Pacific. Through strong leadership you will ensure consistently high standards of contract management, risk assessment, project management and financial administration of international development projects to deliver on schedule within budget to the satisfaction of the client. Additionally you will provide technical input to projects and participate in business development activities.
To be successful, you must have:
• Extensive contract management and project management experience, having successfully managed activities in excess of A$40 Million in infrastructure, engineering and related sectors.
• Ability and desire to work effectively with private companies, government agencies and NGOs in cross-cultural environments.
• Previous experience working within developing countries in the Asia Pacific region.
• Qualifications relevant to the international development industry and to the engineering/infrastructure sector.
• Significant networks in the international development industry.
