URS is seeking an Environmental Planner / Scientist to join the Planning and Assessment Group. At a minimum this will be a Senior level role and the successful candidates will have at least five years experience with a focus on statutory planning, impact assessment and approvals. A thorough working knowledge of NSW state and local government planning legislation is essential.
Responsibilities
o Environmental impact assessment
o Planning permit applications and planning scheme amendments
o Environmental management plans
Requirements
• Over 5 years post-graduate experience in statutory planning, impact assessment and approvals
• Understanding of, and experience working within, QA systems and OH&S systems
• Project management experience
