Undertake and manage a range of water related projects, with particular emphasis on pipeline design for water, stormwater and wastewater infrastructure and other pipe lines uses such as oil and gas.
Responsibilities
Assist Principal Engineer/s to position URS as the preferred supplier of services to the water and wastewater industry.
Project management of Design and Construct water joint venture projects.
Manage water related projects to URS certified Business Management System (BMS) procedures including client liaison, financial control, co-ordination and supervision of staff, consultants, sub-
contractors and joint venture partners.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years industry experience, with demonstrated knowledge and experience in pipeline and sewer design including preparation of technical specifications for pipes and sewers including valves, valve chambers and other devices as required.
Experience in the preparation of contract documentation
Computer modelling of water and wastewater treatment plants
