Its one of those once in a life time opportunities to work within a wide range of mining methods, basically a role where you get to put your stamp and direction into the development of new mining operations .
This is a call for an astute Principal Geotechnical Engineer eager for new challenges to grow within these strategic project roles. Your main role will involve supporting the Development and Production teams with a diverse range of projects as well as providing guidance to less experienced team members and peer review. Its expected that you will be creative thinking with insight to challenge established ideas because its breaking new ground.
Holding appropriate tertiary qualifications, you will have at least 10 years geotechnical experience, preferably with few years in a consulting environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in geotechnical investigation, design and analysis, working in a multi-disciplinary team environment together with strong project management skills. You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have highly developed report writing skills
