We are seeking someone who gains a sense of satisfaction from being able to influence the required outcomes of the team. Whilst this is a position that requires a lot of you there is always the time to have a laugh and your sense of humour will be appreciated.
· Planning, designing and carrying out projects and test programs with outcomes focused on enhancing efficiency of the operation.
· Provision of technical support to operations
· Monitoring process performance against parameters and targets and reporting daily, weekly and monthly on performance, technical and variance issues
· Analysis and modelling of plant performance data
· Monitoring metallurgical laboratory
· Support to consultants and contractors visiting and working within the operation.
What is needed for this position is a degree qualified Metallurgist/ Chemical Engineer who has 3+ years relevant experience in a processing plant, good communication and computer skills and the ability to work successfully in a team.
