You have a FIFO roster of 8 and 6
Apply if you have recognized tertiary qualifications in Geology
Have 3 – 5 years experience with open cut mine geology in base metals, working knowledge of Surpac, experience with excel software
Scope of position
· Planning, scheduling and direct supervision of the grade control function with the mining department.
· Be able to undertake other Geo projects as required (e.g. supervise all grade control functions, ensure safe work practices and quality control procedures are followed.
· Supervise the mining of ore zones
Develop and maintain work practices and procedures of highest professional and safety standards to achieve optimum performance of grade control functions.
· Report to Senior Mine Geologist
