LEAD PROCESS/CHEMICAL /METALLURGICAL ENGINEERS - 220K-160K
One of the big boys of EPCM in Australia is after a Lead Process Engineers (Chemical/Metallurgy) to take a hand pick a team of professionals through a new Base Metals study
Having extensive experience in hydrometallurgical plant design, preferably Base Metals will ensure that your role involves the Lead position for this feasibility studies including all aspects of design, capital and operating costing as well as technical consulting and client interaction.
At this level, its expected that you would have a Chemical/Metallurgy Qualification and at least 10 - 15 years with an EPCM group and at least 5 years in a similar role
SENIOR PROCESS/CHEMICAL /METALLURGICAL ENGINEERS - 170K 140K
A leading independent engineering consultancy providing engineering services to the minerals industry has just been awarded a new contract. This company has honed its technical and project management skills at the cutting edge of the international resource industry and as such has earned an excellent reputation in the industry.
The role is Perth based, and reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, key responsibilities will involve assisting with process design, including:
Development of mass and energy balances,
Flowsheets,
P&IDs,
Design criteria,
Control philosophy
Operating costs
To be successful in this role, you will have a Degree in Chemical/ Metallurgical Engineering with 5 - 10 years related experience.
You would be a team player, with a mature and confident manner and good interpersonal and communication skills.
