One of the world's largest gold mining companies is looking for a Drill & Blast Engineer.
Purpose
To assist the Underground Manager in providing the Jundee operation with all drill and blast requirements to achieve safe and efficient production targets. Maintain satisfactory drilled stocks and production options to ensure the operation is successful.
Challenges
The challenge for this role is to provide robust support to the operation with regards to cost effective and efficient stope designs. These designs are to take into consideration all facets of the underground mining environment (e.g. geological, geotechnical, ventilation and equipment constraints).
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• 4 to 5 years experience since graduation.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mining.
• The required experience to gain an Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency for WA.
