One of the world's largest gold mining companies is looking for a Long Term Planning Engineer.
Purpose
The Long Term Planning Engineer is responsible for providing long term strategies to the Technical Services Manager and the Mining team, with primary focus on reserve estimation, capital projects and budgets. The position operates in an environment that focuses on safe, cost-effective production; technical excellence and reports directly to the Technical Services Manager.
The Long Term Planning Engineer is responsible for providing strategic direction and technical support to the mining department so the mine can maximise the profitable extraction of the Jundee underground resources in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner in order to achieve and sustain the site Business Plan ore tonnes and grade.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Tertiary Qualification – Batchelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent
• First Class Managers Ticket
• 6 Years Underground experience
• 2 Years experience as a Long Term Planning Engineer
• 1 Years experience as a Short/Medium Term Planning Engineer
• 1 Years experience as a Drill and Blast Engineer
• Advanced PC skills and computer literacy
• Detailed knowledge of Mine Planning Software
