One of the world's largest gold mining companies is looking for a Senior Production Engineer.
Purpose
The Senior Production Engineer is responsible for providing medium term strategies (12 week rolling plan) to the Underground Manager and the Mining team, with primary focus on ensuring that activities identified in the rolling 12 week schedule correspond with the requirements of the LOM schedule. The position operates in an environment that focuses on safe, cost-effective production; operational, technical and managerial excellence and reports directly to the Underground Manager.
The Senior Production Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support to the mining department so the mine can maximise the profitable extraction of the Jundee underground resources in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner in order to achieve and sustain the site Business Plan ore tonnes and grade.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Tertiary Qualification – Batchelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent
First Class Managers Ticket
5 Years Underground experience
Advanced PC skills and computer literacy
Detailed knowledge of Mine Planning Software
